Joe Price, apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery
Joe Price, picked up one of the top accolades and was named Advanced Apprentice of the year at the awards in Carpentry and Joinery.
Joe started his apprenticeship in 2008 and he then achieved Level 3 in site carpentry with distinction. Joe is the winner of National Apprenticeship Awards which were held on the 29th of June 2011. Joe was firstly selected as 1 of 20 candidates that were shortlisted from 251 competitors at regional competitions. The 20 competitors were then reduced to 3 and after intensive training Joe Won the privilege of representing the UK at the World Skills competition, when he came 5th in the world in the UK Skills team for carpentry. J.R Slee believes that “investing in apprentices results in loyal and highly skilled employees”.
